Why Noggin exists

After years of in-house recruiting at scale, we started Staffify and hit the same wall every small team hits: enterprise ATSes built for procurement committees on one side, spreadsheet chaos on the other, and a separate subscription for every piece of the job — sourcing here, outreach there, screening nowhere. So we built the platform we wanted to run our own desk on. Then we kept running our desk on it.

Dogfooding as the roadmap

Staffify recruiters work in Noggin every day — the same Discover searches, the same Milo drafts, the same approval queues customers get. When something is slow or clumsy, we feel it before you do, and it goes on the list that morning. Features ship because a recruiter needed them, not because a roadmap committee voted.

Where we stand on AI

AI should do the recruiting work — drafting, sourcing, screening — and humans should approve it. Milo drafts the outreach; a recruiter approves every send. Agents surface candidates; a recruiter accepts or rejects each one. Screening comes with a written rationale a person can read and overrule. The approval gates aren't a compliance checkbox bolted on later. They're the product.

The name

Recruiting is judgment work. The tools should supply the memory, the reach, and the first draft — and leave the judgment to the person with the noggin. That's the whole idea, and it fit on a wordmark.
